German Shepherd: what is it?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The Czech German Shepherd is not a different breed of German Shepherd; there is only one breed standard (see this page \ud83d\udc49 <a href=\"https:\/\/dcv-berger-allemand.fr\/en\/le-berger-allemand\/le-standard\/\">The standard<\/a>) and it should not be confused with the <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Chien-loup_tch%C3%A9coslovaque\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Czechoslovakian wolfdog.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>It originally referred to a working livestock farming tradition developed in ancient times <strong>Czechoslovakia<\/strong>, particularly around the famous program of the <strong>Pohrani\u010dn\u00ed str\u00e1\u017e<\/strong>, the Czechoslovak following year.<\/p>\n<p>These dogs are not selected to participate in a sporting competition. But selection can favor certain components over others.<\/p>\n<p>In certain modern sporting lineages, selection has progressively and extremely favored the lever <strong>predation<\/strong>.
